Unable to upload logo

I tried several times to upload the logo. This message appeared firstr:

An Unsaved Theme Was Found
It appears you were editing a theme that was not published. If you continue, all previous edits will be lost and you will start editing with the original settings.

I tried continue and unsaved theme.

When I clicked to continue, a new dialogue box appeared. I then clicked the images icon on the upper left, followed by the folder to the right of the URL field.

The following message appeared every time, with the progress halted:
Please Wait - loading...

I was not able to upload my logo.

Please help.

Thank you.

Is this with the latest update (downloaded since friday) or an earlier version? This sounds like a file permissions issue that I had hoped we resolved in the latest update.

If you don't have the latest update, it could fix this... if you do I'd like to look into it with you and see if we can't find a solution to not just fix this, but prevent others from running into it in the first place.
