Renamed file name?

Renamed file name?

I am implementing Digital File Pro 2.01 and am having trouble capturing the actual renamed filename. The session variable that I thought contained the information ($_SESSION[formname_fieldname]) is giving me the file originally submitted, not the incrementally renamed file. How do I capture that?

You can get the correct syntax from the bindings window. Look for the upload and "Server File Name" in bindings. That will return the actual file name on the server.

No Such Binding

Thanks for your quick response! But I have gone through the bindings, but there is no binding named "Server File Name", only "Simple File Name" (which is the original file's name).

After you add the digital file pro server behavior to the page, it should add bindings specific to that upload. You are looking in the form bindings I believe... it is in the other object in the bindings tab. Look through the tutorials. They should have screen shots since that is the most common binding to use.
