How do I use the upload function with the DW insert record behaviour?

I am having a few problems with with insert pages created by DataAssist, so I have decided to use the standard insert record behaviour, but when I apply the Upload function, I can't complete it due to not having access to the second part of the process. When I click insert record in the behaviours panel, it opens the DW insert record panel, but I can't find where to apply the 'server file name'.

How do I apply an upload function to a DW created insert?

the upload function cannot be used with the Dreamweaver insert record behavior. due to limitations in the DW insert behavior, it is not compatible.

OK, well in that is the case, is there a way of instigating DataAssist on an existing page? As far as I can see there isn't a way of doing so without using the DataAssist wizard that creates pages for you.

If there's not a way, perhaps that could be a feature request.

you can add the data assist Insert Record behavior to the page instead of the Dreamweaver insert record behavior.

go to the server behaviors panel and click the plus button. Go to Data Assist -> Insert -> Insert Single Record.

Well, you could knock me down with a feather!

I didn't know that the DataAssist options were there. I know the other tools are there because of their naming convention being WA... or WebAssist... but I didn't know that DataAssist was in there too! I thought I was limited to the wizard, the search wizard and the repeating table options.

There are quite a few options in there... looks like I have a bit of learning to do!
