Action based on removal of item

Hi Guys,

Basically I have an item in the cart, if the user removes this I want to run a script that will alter something in a table with this items ID, is this at all possible?

Regards,
Joe.

this can be done but would require a lot of hand coding that goes beyond what we can support here in the forums.

We could help you achieve this in a premier support appointment where we would work with you in a one on one screen sharing session. See the support landing page for premiere support details.

Ah ok, so there's no simple solution to grab the removed items id?
I can do all the rest, but again, the removed items' ID is really all I'm looking to attain.

Thanks for your help.

No, there is not a simple solution for this. the major hurdle is that multiple items can be removed at once, by multiple methods:

set the quantity to 0 or click the remove checkbox.
