WA_UserInterface.js

I uninstalled the associated extensions and then installed the new Design Extender. Now when I start Dreamweaver I am getting the error message:

Unable to open script - (my path) - Configuration\Shared\WebAssist\Library\WA_UserInterface.js (error 3)

I have checked that folder and the file does not exist.

Any ideas?

That is the old user interface file that isn't used in Design Extender any more.

What that means is that you have another extension installed that is trying to use that file and uninstalling the other extensions removed it.

I'll attach a copy of that file to this thread and you can add it back in. If other files were removed it might mean you have to reinstall one of the other webassist extensions you have which is the one that is actually throwing this error.

Actually I installed that file and ended up with all kinds of errors. It was after hours for you guys so I decided to just uninstall all of the WebAssist extensions, clean house and then reinstall.

So I uninstalled all of the WebAssist extensions. Then cleared the DW cache. But when I started Dreamweaver up I still got tons of Webassist errors, actually more than I got before.

That's when I remembered the trick of resetting the workspace in DW. Once I reset the workspace it cleared all of the errors. I reinstalled everything from scratch and now it's working like a charm.

Thanks!
