Delete Single Extensions?

Can I delete the single extensions for the ones that are included in this one? I have design extender and CSS Menu Writer 2 installed. Can i delete CSS menu writer 2 and the same goes for the other ones included.

yes, you should remove any extension that is included in the design extender install from the Dreamweaver extension manager before installing design extender.

the design extender extension is a replacement of the individual extensions.

Is there any specific procedure I should take if I installed the extension without deleting the older ones? Do I need to clear the .dat file or restart?? I uninstalled them all and restarted, then installed design extender.

yes, uninstall all the extensions, delete the cache file, then reinstall design extender.

Is there a list of extensions to delete prior to installing new one?

Found them in another thread:

*CSS Sculptor
*CSS Menu Writer
*Framework Builder
*PowerCMS Builder
*Pro Maps for Google
*Site Import
*Site Sculptor
*Social Media Toolkit

Please put this instruction at the download place!
Many people, like I , only visit the forum when something goes wrong.
It's much easier to see these uninstall instructions right away at the download center.

I'm sure it will help lots of people!

Thanx

Hi Jason,

This is something that has been requested before for all extensions. Please suggest they make it a regular practice. There should always be information on upgrading extensions and on updating web pages with previous implementations of an extension.
