New release bug found on DA update

Hello every update page i have with an existing site if i use dataassist to do any change to the update pages they get broke and when updating a form the info that goes to the database gets inserted wrong adding any separated words from the first field to the rest of the fields, i did quick fix but hope this gets addresed soon so we dont have to change it manually.

The bug i found if i check the code at the $WA_fieldValuesStr line, each element there gets a buggy character "|�|", if your having this problem just change each of those to "|" and your form will work correctly, this started to happen with the new update, good luck webassist hope this gets fix soon :p

Are you on 2.09 or 2.1.0?

This was discussed a couple of weeks back with the release of 2.09 but seems to have been tidied up with 2.1.0.

it has been corrected in the most recent 2.1.0 release.

I have the new one 2.1.0 now with the new blue interface screen wich is the one giving me the bug, i uninstalled the 2.0.9 and cleared the cache file before upgrading and after reading the other post i deleted cache file again im getting this issue for every update page since the new release 2.1.0, that issue did not happen to me when i had the version 2.0.9 it just started the day i upgraded to 2.1.0

I have created a support ticket so we can look into this issue further.

Hi.
I am facing the same problem. Every time I double click the 'Update Record' and just hit finish, makes the form break and do the same things Sades says.

My fault.
Was sure that I was using DS 2.1
Checked and realized I had 2.09
Upgraded and works perfect.

I found I was getting this charactor � Sometimes and was using 2.10. but after investigation found it was coming from copying and pasting inmproperly from word and other programs into the editor, somtimes it coul'dnt clean it all up and my ' were �.
but when typing or pasting without cleanup errors all was good.

I get the same when I copy and paste from word. What I do is strip all formatting then copy/paste.
