Resgister user error

Hi Support

Ref: user unable to subscribe using the users_registration.php page.

They were trying to register "FRED956@BTINTERNET.COM" which returns = "Please enter a valid email address" after submitting.

I have tried a few email addresses in caps and some seem to work, a few did not, it is not consistant.

Any ideas?

Mac

php:
<?php if(isset($_POST["UserEmail"]) && $_POST["UserEmail"] != ""$_POST["UserEmail"] = strtolower($_POST["UserEmail"]); ?>
