ckeditor not responding on one page

Just had a client contact me that they cannot edit their content on home page. This problem is only on the home page, all others seem to be working fine.

I tested it myself, the editor opens up with the content but when you edit the content and click save...it's not saving.
any ideas on what would cause this?

p.s. this is pcms version 1.2 I believe

update... If I use Chrome, I can update the home page...but IE9 still won't work.

if it is only that one page not working, I would suspect it is something in the content itself. Click the source button in the html editor toolbar and copy the source than paste it into your reply.

very odd, IE wouldn't even let me in source view so I had to do that in Chrome.
I think it has something to do with the html for the horizontal rule... it was adding in a closing tag for that
I deleted that closing tag for the hr and it worked for a minute, then when i saved, it put it right back.
so then i deleted the hr (the opening and the weird closing tag) altogether and it seems to work just fine now.

very strange

I cant reproduce the problem in Power CMS 2, I seem to recall that the FCK Editor version in Power CMS 1 did not offer full IE9 support.
