Error message on success page

Hi,

I have this error message on the success page, after an order is confirmed:

Warning: set_time_limit() [function.set-time-limit]: Cannot set time limit in safe mode in /var/www/html/www.shop.eu/web/checkout_success_international.php on line 104
ge); } } ?>

I have tested the site over and over, and everything was working just fine. Can remote code just change?

To make it worse, the success page triggers the wrong success email. International customers get the email intended for national customers.

I tried to look at the code, but out of the blue the file (along with all other files) is locked and can only be viewed. Maybe not quite out of the blue, as there seem to be problems with user preferences system wide. I am trying to solve that with Apple.

As my problem is two-fold, I would first need to know, how to get Dreamweaver to unlock these files (I am guessing I have to rebuild some cache file), and then what to do with the error message.

Could someone please help me with that?

the error message is occurring because the sever has enabled safe mode. universal email cannot work with safe mode enabled, safe mode will need to be turned off.

if the files are looked, that probably means they are read only, right click them in dream weavers file panel and select the Turn Of Read Only option to unlock them.

could the national email be triggers on another page like the confirm page?

or double check for 2 instances of the UE code on the checkout_success_international.php page

Hi Jason,

If you mean the local server, there is actually something odd going on. Every time I open MAMP, I have to enter the administrator password now. When testing locally, I can only get to the confirmation page. When confirming the success page should load, but it won't. I couldn't find a safe mode setting in MAMP. Do you know, how to disable safe mode in MAMP Pro?

Files are "read and write" when I look at the info in the Finder. In Dreamweaver I can choose to unlock the site folder ... which does nothing. Unlock for the files is greyed out.

No, the triggers are on the success pages. I listened to you back when I created the page :) I now see, that the German email is triggered, which has me baffled, because it used to work.

Correction, now none of the pages load on the testing server.

Same with Firefox. Newly started I can get to the confirm page. After confirming neither the success page load, nor any other link works. Until I restart Firefox, and the same happens all over again.

I think this may be related to the problems that I have with the system wide user preferences. I will post back after I talked to Apple.

Hi Jason,

I have an Update: User preferences have been reset, so they should not contribute to any problems. I also deleted the configuration folder for Dreamweaver, just to be sure.

I now have another error message, this one on the detail page. When I click "add to cart", products are added but the cart page is not loaded.

This is the error code:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/html/www.ourshop.eu/web/detail.php:357) in /var/www/html/www.ourshop.eu/web/detail.php on line 370

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/html/www.ourshop.eu/web/detail.php:357) in /var/www/html/www.ourshop.eu/web/detail.php on line 402

Regarding the original error message: I haven't had a chance to get in contact with our provider, but UE does work. Confirmation Emails are being sent.

To troubleshoot the site, I need the site to work on my local testing server, but as soon as I confirm an order, the site is completely stuck. It won't load the success page, go back or load any other link. When I try to open any other page, it doesn't load (the loading circle keeps spinning) and stays white. That problem persists until I restart the browser. Then again everything works up to the point of confirming the order.

Jason, could you look into this please?
