More websites same content 1 database?

Hi,

I have made 3 websites; desktop, android and ios.

I have one website (desktop) installed and connected with the database.

Would it be possible to remove the content from the 2 other websites (Android and ios) and include the php code from the installed and connected website to let the same content from the database appear on all 3 websites.

I use a PHP device detection system. Is it a good idea to make 2 sub-domains or do you advice 3 websites at the same root an domain to let it work?!

Thanks! David

yes, use 2 subdomains.

if all 3 websites are on the same server, they can all connect to the same database.

More websites one database

Hi,

What I try to accomplish is that I only have to edit one content item for more websites at the same time.

I have one main-domain connected with the database and Power CMS installed.

All content is selected and added to the database. That works. ( only in CS4 not in CS5.5, but for the moment that's not important!)

I want to connect one sub-domain to make the already selected and stored content from the main-site also visible on the sub-domain, because despite the fact that it is a other site (iPad/Tab) it is using the same content.

Can you describe the steps that I have to take from here, because what ever I do it doesn't work.

For example when I copy the CMS code that is on top of the site's code and put the content php code on the content location it doesn't work.

I have made the same database name and login connection as on the main site.

Do I need to do a new install for the sub-domain?!

Thanks ! David
