different 'off' state backgrounds
Hi there
Been trying to use different coloured backgrounds for the off state of a navigation set and cant get it to work...
IS there a way to do this?
The on/hover state will be the same for each.
Thanks
Jamie

Do you mean different off states so that each button has a different background image?
If so, I think you will need to manually hand code some additional CSS and give each menu item a unique ID that associates it with the relevant CSS.

can you clarify exactly what you mean by "Off state"? I'm not sure i completely understand what you are asking.
Thanks Ian.. I have been having a play with the css but it doesnt seem to work.
Jason, by the 'off state' I mean when the mouse is not hovering over the navigation point.
you can edit the menu file directly and add a background image as an inline style to the a tag.
for example:
<li class="parent"><a href="#" style="background-image:url(path/to/image.jpg);">Item 1</a>
