Where did the content wysiwyg(what you see is what you get) editor?

I recently upgraded from 3.0 to 4.5 and was told by Webassist of all the new options and why I should upgrade. After the arduous task of the upgrade, I noticed a feature they took out. I run an ecommerce site for hardware and had content landing pages. Basically, I used to be able to edit the user interface of each category and view it as code or as design. Now, that option is completely gone.

It is ridiculous that I cannot even talk to anyone on the phone to figure this out. Sure, I can pay $100 to tell them my problem, then I'm sure they would charge more to get the feature out.

People pay for upgrades for new features. It is never expected that you would delete features and make it LESS user friendly. I would love some advice here from anyone that understands what I am talking about.

can you send a screen shot in a zip archive of that option in the power store 3 admin panel?

This does not sound like a feature that I am aware of there being in power store 3.

In Power Store 3 as well as Power Store 4, when you select a category, it loads the Products_Results.php page with the products for that category, It does not have a specific landing page for each category with customizable content.

Content Editor

I cannot send you a screen shot as I upgraded to the new version. But, I can tell you that I used to have a script called: category-header.php. I would customize the content myself and add the code into that php file. Then, in the admin screen I was able to edit each of the pages. Currently, if you go to my website, www.qlineshop.com, you can click on any of the middle pictures just to see what I mean. If you click on decorative hardware for example, I new screen will open up which shows you 12 plus boards. I used to be able to edit that page easily in the admin screen. Now, I have had to hard code it and it's almost impossible to make edits. We basically had to make our own php code and have the database call it for each of the products.

Please advise as I hope this description of the problem helps.

category-header.php is not a file that is included with power store 3, this must have been a custom coded, it was not a standard feature included in power store.

did you have this done in a premiere support ticket? or did you hire another developer to implement this?

Since it is not a standard feature of power store, the upgrade, it will need to be recreated.

My web designer took care of it and he is no longer with the company. Is there a way to get an estimate on how much it would cost to get a phone call and some help to implement this? I must have these landing pages in my admin screen for ease of use and I don't know if my designer has you guys do it initially or if he had done it.

Thanks, I also just noticed today that during the upgrade, all of the SKUs don't show up in the admin. screen on the products. This needs to be taken care of as well. This was NOT customized in the old system so I am not sure what the problem is here.

I will look for a call today.

I have created a support ticket for the SKU problem so we can look into this issue further.
