On-Click not working for Facebook link

On-Click not working for Facebook link

I have a blank HTML page with nothing in except the social media Toolkit. I insert share buttons for Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Google+. All these buttons bring up a blank window except the facebook link. It simply adds a # to the end of the URL but does not open a new facebook window. The server I have this on runs PhP with no problems but I need to have this running on a simple HTML page. The code on the page is below. Hope you can help resolve this issue.

<body>
<div class="wasocial">

<div class="icons">
<a name="fb_share" type="icon" href="#" onclick="window.open('http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=((!empty($_SERVER["HTTPS"])) ? "https://" : "http://") . $_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"].$_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"]', 'Facebook', 'toolbar=0,status=0,width=626,height=436'); return false;" title="Facebook">
<img src="/webassist/social/icons/facebook.png" />
</a>
</div>

<div class="icons">
<div id="custom-tweet-button">
<a href="https://twitter.com/share?url=((!empty($_SERVER["HTTPS"])) ? "https://" : "http://") . $_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"].$_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"]" target="_blank"><img src="/webassist/social/icons/twitter.png" alt="Twitter" border="0" title="Twitter" /></a>
</div>
</div>

<div class="icons">
<!-- Place this tag where you want the +1 button to render -->
<g:plusone size="medium" count="false" href="undefined"></g:plusone>

<!-- Place this tag after the last plusone tag -->
<script type="text/javascript">
(function() {
var po = document.createElement('script'); po.type = 'text/javascript'; po.async = true;
po.src = 'https://apis.google.com/js/plusone.js';
var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(po, s);
})();
</script>
</div>

<div class="icons">
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://platform.linkedin.com/in.js"></script><script type="in/share" data-url="undefined"></script>
</div>
</div>

the social media code cannot be run on a simple HTML Page, it must be a PHP page. There is PHP server side code added to the page that cannot be run from an HTML page. change the file extension from .html to .php

Ah bugger. I have about 100 HTML pages I wanted to add this feature to :(

You site says:

'Works with static, dynamic (.php only) or template pages.'

I took that statement as dynamic pages had to be php but not necessarily static pages which are normally html. You may want to change that statement on your requirements page to avoid confusion.

I'm sorry, I misspoke slightly.

In the SMTK Insert Share button window, the Currant Page option can only be used on Dynamic pages. The currant Page option uses dynamic PHP code to set the current page.

when using it on a static html page, you will need to use the Custom Page option and enter the full URL for the static page on your site.
