Large File Upload Fails

Large File Upload Fails

We've used Universal Email to build a file upload utility for a customer. It works, but when a file is uploaded that is too large, there is no notification that a failure has occurred. The uploader thinks the file has completed, and there is no notification to the client that a file has either uploaded or failed to upload.

Ideally, both the uploader and the client would be notified that an error has occurred, but that's not happening. I'm sure somewhere in the Universal Email, that function exists, but for the life of me, I can't find it. Can anyone help?

How do I use this?

The title of the article is Displaying upload error messages with Digital File Pro. I don't have Digital File Pro, and the thlings they talk about in it are not in the Universal Email program. I wish WA would update their help sections to actually reflect the program that they are selling, instead of using examples from stuff the client may not have!

If this is supposed to give me directions on how to set up error messages, it sure isn't helping much.

Digital File Pro is bundled into Universal Email 4 under the File Manipulation menu.

the Universal Email File Manipulation -> File Upload behavior is exactly the same as the Digital File Pro -> Upload file Behavior, only the name "Digital File Pro" has been changed to "File Manipulation"

the WA Upload Files ([file field name]) binding referenced in the tutorial will still exist in the bindings panel. The WA_DigitalFilePro/HelperPHP.php file has been moved to webassist/file_manipulation/HelperPHP.php
