How to publish my database result store?

Hi , i have a store created with data assist. Seem to work fine locallly with Xampp but when i put my site live i have a acces message error:


Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/annik/domains/anniklucier.com/public_html/Connections/Boutique.php on line 9

Fatal error: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/annik/domains/anniklucier.com/public_html/Connections/Boutique.php on line 9

I just dont find any tutorial or anything on what and how to do it

It looks like you are trying to connect to your remote database with the login credentials for your local database.

You need to change the username / password in the db connection file in the Connections folder so that it is using the correct combination for your remote database.

how to

Hi Ian, thank you for your reply, i understand now what t is trying to do but how do i changes theses infos and where?.
I have built many website, flash and HTML but its my first time with database and honnestly i ran into many bugs and conflict with the extensions so my experience with this is not very good.

I would like to have a little help on how and where to setup the infos so when i go to live it will read the informations where it should.

Sure, its not a WebAssist thing, its a Dreamweaver Database Connection that you need to change.

In the root of your site in Dreamweaver there should be folder called Connections. In there will be a file that contains your database connection details.

You need to change the details in this file to point to your remote database, along with the login credentials for the remote db.
