No database selected (message) when i try to preview page... need help

Hi have a website that i built a store with data assist. I installed the extension on my desktop and my laptop. I can preview the Product_results.php page for example on my desktop.

On my laptop i have this message showing: No database selected

i have gone thru this for SEVERALS hours and i cant find anythin, it is a copy on each one installed exactly with the same path xampp/htdocs/

i checked the dreamweaver site manager to make sure the setup is the same and its exactly the same on both.

i CANT figure it out need help

So the desktop is working fine, but on the laptop you are getting the error.

the error points to a problem with the database connection.

Open the Dreamweaver Database tab (Window -> Database) in the list of connections, double click your connection, then press the test button, does the connection test pass or give an error?

In the connection window, for the database, press the select button, does this give a list of databases?

you may have to recreate the database on the laptop computer.
