Cart adds to quantity and not separate item

Cart adds to quantity and not separate item

Hello,

I have created a products page of mostly t shirts. When I order a shirt in black, size small and then go back to order the same shirt but in white, size large, the order display shows the shirt color and size of the first one ordered and increases the quantity. It doesn't show a separate line item for the second shirt ordered to reflect a different color and size.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Jackie

I would imagine that your product, no matter what colour, is using the same unique ID in the database.

In the Add to Cart behaviour there is an option to tell the cart what to do if the same product ID is added (i.e. Sum, Add new item etc).

Try that.

in the eCart object, make sure that the color and size columns have the Unique Options checked.

Thank you so much, I didn't have the size and color set as "unique" items but have updated it and it works awesome!!!

Thanks Again!
