Insert Function

Thread began 1/11/2012 10:07 am by hennyhales428465 | Last modified 1/11/2012 12:29 pm by Jason Byrnes | 471 views | 1 replies |

Insert Function

After installing ecart, when I use install function it does not allow me to do anything, none of the options are highlighted like they are with paypal or other insert options, i then tried to take it off dreamweaver by extension manager (mac), it stayed on dreamweaver (disappeared from extension manager) and when I try to install ecart via extension manager it fails. Now my insert column in dreamweaver doesn't function at all, not even using keyboard to insert a table for example. It's cuurfunct. Help?

when installing or uninstalling an extension, you need to close dreamweaver first.

Close dreamweaver, then re install eCart and Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:

then restart Dreamweaver.

Before you can use eCart, you will need to first define a dynamic site in Dreamweaver, then create a new PHP page and save it to the site you have defined.

see the "Defining a Dynamic Site in Dreamweaver" tutorial on the learning resources page for more details:
