Spry validation in IE still fails!

Spry validation in IE still fails!

I can't get Spry to work in IE at all in pages built with SecurityAssist! I use IE8 and Ive tried it in that browser on 3 different systems.

Ive built a fresh set of SecurityAssist wizard pages and it does not work.

Same problem here, specially editing the forms with CSS form builder

Gents,

I have the similar issues with the newest Sec. Assist and CSS form builder.

Security Assist creates the login, logout, register and update pages without any problems. After updating these standaard pages IE 8 shows couple of errors at the bottom of the browser. All related to spry validations. But the forms are working correctly only the CSS part is not right. (no margins/paddings bedween the input fields)

The errors are pointing to the files below:

SpryAssets/SpryValidationTextField.js
SpryAssets/SpryValidationPassword.js

It gets even a nighmare when you edit the the standard Sec. Assit forms with CSS form builder. Because you have no Spry validations at all after changing the form fields!

I'm working 4 days on this issue and I've created already 12 different versions of login/logout/register/update pages but no results.

This needs to be solved asap!

Thanks.

Magic

the reality is that form builder should not be used to edit the forms created by security assist.

Form Builder is a Form Creation tool and should not be used to edit forms that are not created by form builder to begin with.

Jason,

I din't know that Sec. Assist is not compatible with Form Builder extension.
Usually all WA extensions should work seamlessly together...that was I thought.

Thank you very much for your feedback.

But what about the IE errors regarding the spry validations?
Is there any work around for that?

Thanks.

it's not that security assist and form builder are not compatible together, it's that form builder is for building forms, not editing them.

the impresion i got from your post was that the forms initially created by security assist work, the errors occur after you edit them with form builder, or do i have that wrong?
