calling from plugin folder

Hi

setup a page as per the video call a php page stored in my _plugins page. I did not set a variable name do that page is shown by default.

I then created another page and saved that in the plugins folder.

On the first plugins page I created a link ?form=hoone calling the second page.

Can you not call a a plugins page from another plugins page?

thanks

Ian

I'm not sure i understand what the problem is.

you can add a plugin to a plugin page.

can you send a link where i can see the problem and a copy of the pages involved, maybe that will help me understand what the issue is.

update

Hi Jason

trust you had a great xmas and received the letter you were hoping for!.

My issue as usual now gets more complicated

I've uploaded to my live server and the default page is at

interactive.php

this contains the in initial plugin which is stored at _plugins.

At the bottom of the page is a link named hand sealers which has the code

?form=hoone

ON my test server I get page not found on my live server I get a permissions error

can you take a look

thanks

Ian

when i view source, i see the link twice:

php:
<a href="_plugins/?form=hoone">Hand Sealers</a>
php:
<a href="?form=hoone">Hand Sealers</a>

you need to include the php file name in the link, not just the querystring variable:

php:
<a href="interactive.php?form=hoone">Hand Sealers</a>

update

Hi

thanks Jason works now on the remote server, still have an issue on the testing server but I'll look at that tomorrow.

I suspect that the video tutorial could do with a footnote for idiots like me as it does not mention the file name is required!!!

Have a great new year

cheers

Ian
