Details page "you may also like" product suggestions

On many eCommerce sites they have the "Customers also bought", "you may also like" product suggestion callouts on the detail page. Is there an easy way to add this feature to my dataAssist created details pages? My ideal would be to set up fields in my products table that i can associate with other productIDs or "like" products. My first idea is:

1. create a new table:

P.association
- P.associationID (key)
- P.likeproductsID (connect to P.likeproductsID (key))

2. create a second new table:

P.likeproducts
- P.likeproductsID (key)
- P.likeproductsProductID (Product to connect)
- P.likeproductsLink (hyperlink to add to <a href> tag)

3. create a new field in products table:
- productsP.associationID ( link to the P.association key)

4. then I could join them in the Recordset and bind from the joined recordset.

Some additional directions or opinions as to how to go about this would be great thanks.

Sounds to me like you are on the right track with the tables you are creating and using a joined query, this should work as you expect.
