Change default on images to list from icons

Change default on images to list from icons

Please can you tell me how to change the default display on the image library from icons to list view? - everything works fine from the HTML editor, but the speed of loading the library window is becoming a pain. Using list view (as default) is an ok fix for me.

in webassist/kfm/initialize.php, change the following line:

php:
$kfm->defaultSetting('listview',0);

to:

php:
$kfm->defaultSetting('listview',1);

That didn't work. I have the HTML editor working in my forms. I click the add a graphic icon, an image properties window opens, I click browse server. The Kae's File Manager window opens, and it remains showing icons as the default, top-left.

most likely it is a browser caching issue.

make sure to clear your browsers cache, or try a new browser, I tested this in my own suite before posting, and it worked just fine.

Hmm... yes, it works. The drop down still displays as icons, it is not showing as list. I can live with that, but that's what stopped me in my tracks, I had set up a empty dummy upload folder as the default to allow me to change to list view before selecting the folder each time, that's why I couldn't even see the list. Thx for your help.
