Main menu size / spacing help needed

Sorry, me again! I meant to post this in my previous post...

I have the main menu as I wanted it in PS4.5, but the client has asked me to make the sub levels smaller in size so that they don't take up so much room. So, the top level menu which is always visible is fine, but the sub levels which appear on mousover need to have less padding and/or margin.

I've looked for the css that affects this, and I have tried to amend in firebug to see what gets affected by any changes, but I can't find the css which controls them.

Again, could you please advise?

Thanks.

Mat

Here you go:

mrsgd.co.uk

So to clarify, Home, Products, Support and Contact us (the main menu headings) are fine as they are. I need to reduce the size of the sub menu items: Search, Show all, the categories, Returns policy, Shipping, About us etc.

I can't find the CSS that applies to these, hopefully you can.

Thanks.

changing the height of the submenus is not supported, nor is it strait forward.

you need to create custom css rules to target the level 1 and level 2 ULS:

#cssmw ul.level-1 li
#cssmw ul.level-2 li

to set the height.

you may also need to create other rules to target the a tags:
#cssmw ul.level-1 li a

to reset line hight and padding attributes.
