Universal Email - Testing Server revisited

Hello,

Sorry to go back on this issue but i womdered if anyone could help me with a solution.
I am a newbie to php (limited knowledge) and i am currently learning using WA tutorials and sample files/ datasources.

I have wamp (apache, mysql, php, phpmyadmin) and apparently it does not come with a mail server.

I have dreamweaver cs3 and the WA web develper pack. Because I am only learning at the moment I need to test Universal Email and Security Assist email functions on my local server.

I have an smtp server provided by my isp "smtp.orange.net", and I have changed my php.ini file to correspend this.

I have just downloaded PHPMailer to use as a mailing server but I think this may interfere with my WA extensions. There is not much help from sourceforge on how to implement there PHPMailer so I am having trouble getting it configured. it is prompting my for information that I have already applied to universal email and security assist.

I just wondered if anyone had any ideas on the right Mail Server I can use that would work seamlessly with WAMP and WA extensions?

Any help will be much appreciated as I dont have web space.

problem solved,

instead of downloading a mail server I pointed my php.ini to my isp mailserver and email account and it seems to work ok.
