Where and when to use the WA extentions

I have bought the super suite and more, but I really only ever bother to use a few extentions simply because I don't understand how they can be utilised within a website. Data assist without doubt is the best product you have, along with Eric Meyers CSS Builder, but that's an opinion based on my usage of your software.

Some extentions I have used only once or twice because I ended up having problems with implementation and felt it easier to go back to the way I know rather than struggle through.

It's not that your software is difficult to use, far from it, it's just in some cases difficult to understand why I need to use it, and therfore how to implement it best.

Is there a series of demo's or tutorials on the web assist site that can take me through the process of building an online store, and show where, how and why each of the products might be used? For example, I have ecart, so how do I show my cart total on every page? Am I able to? I have validation toolkit, but I have never used it as I don't fully understand how I can add it, or why I need to add it to my site.

It would be great to see a step-by-step guide on how to build a complete store or similar using all of the webassists products and why they are being used.

Perhaps a road map series of this sort of tutorial might be considered, or is this already available elsewhere and I just haven't found it! I know there's likely to be individual demos of usage, but a linear demo of all products in one example site might help me to see the wood through the trees!
