in the universal email behavior, did you select the "Create a File For the Email" option? this will create a email template file that will automatically include the form data.

you either need to select that option, or click the DW Edit icon to design the email body using dreamweaver/

Same thing happening to me

Hello,
I am having the same issue. The email comes through but it is does not have any of the form fields. I tried editing the email content using the html and text editors and the simple test phrase that I inputted came through in the email but none of the form content. If I don't edit the html the email comes through totally blank. None of the form content is included in the email. I also created a couple of other very simple test forms on seperate web pages just to see if perhaps it was the page or something unique to the form. Same issue. Since I can't view the other guy's ticket can you help?
You can view my file at jobs-framer.php.
I am using Universal Email v3.0.5 and Dreamweaver CS4.
Thanks.
Bryan

first issue i see is that you have some form elements that incorectly named.

for example:
<input type="radio" name="Who Are You?" value="radio" id="Who Are You?_0" />

when naming form elements, you can use only alpha numeric characters, no spaces or special characters are allowed when naming form elements.

when creating the email body using the Dreamweaver edit feature, you need to open the bindings panel, in the bindings panel, expand the form collection and add bindings for the form elements to the email body.

The instruction XML file works some of the time and not others, as the links do not always appear, and often the XML is visible with the result that the instruction pages fail to display leaving you in a page just listing the XML file, with no way out of it .

I am trying to use this extension to create a form on my site that the user completes and sends to me, so I created my own form with suitable fields. I then applied the UE4 extension to this form, and bound the fields using the lightning arrow on the quick insert panel which picked up the items in the bindings panel - in design view only.

The result is that the email gets sent but does not include anything other than a title, as stated above.

So I look on here and follow the instructions quoted above.

It produces a file called Blank.php, which has no form elements on it, and does not appear to connect in any way with other files in the extension, though it does have some php code that appears to extract information from somewhere and put it into an array. The only way that I can think of using this page is to insert a form and a field set containing the text fields that I need in the body of the email, insert a send button and then apply UE4 to it?

Is this what is supposed to happen?
If so, where in the document can I insert text fields or does it not matter?

If not, how do text fields on the form to which the extension is applied get sent?

the template page that is created has code that will loop through the form elements on your page and include them in the email.

if this is not working for you, please send a copy of your page so I can seer the code.
