Creating User Account and Logging in fail

I am trying to get a grasp on this new security assist. The old one was much more easy to walk through and set up your settings. In the new one I am letting it make the pages to register, log out, forgot password, update, and log in with the create security pages. First you cannot apply the forms to the already made template on your site. That is really annoying. The problem i am having is that after I create the pages I go into register for a test and then try to sign in and it tells me I have a invalid email or pass. When I look at the database my password is not being saved in there. I am not sure why this is happening but I have a long way to go with this site remodel. I am hoping I can get it done quick considering the last time when I built it, it only took 4 days with the old tools. I am hoping these new tools can be as convenient with some direction. Thank you,
