image upload opens page that says "Please Wait - loading..."

I have had no problems with PowerCMS except for the image upload. When I clicked on the image button for the first time, it stated that the database would be updated and to reload the page. When I clicked it for the second time, it opened a new page that only says "Please Wait - loading..." What could be wrong? Everything else in my PowerCMS install is working. I have attached a screenshot.
