Which product for order form?

Hi -

I need to create a dealer order form with several hundred products with four or five fields each (name, product #, wholesale price, sug. retail price). It needs to be able to be updated up to several times a month. Orders need to be emailed to customer service. It needs to be password protected (just this page on the general website).

Is Form Builder my best bet? Or one of the shopping cart tools? Thanks for your advice, ttt

Yes. With form Builder you should be able to create the Form and have Security Valiation on the Form. Form Builder will also takes care of sending the email.

I'm a little confused on the needs to be updated several times a month, can you please explain what you mean by that.

changes on the fly

Thanks for replying...

They need to be able to change products and prices on a fluid basis - this is an order form for an animal feed company, so prices especially change all the time.

I'm thinking it's got to be a database app with an admin on the backend so whoever at the company can make those changes and have the form update - may not be a Dreamweaver thing on the backend?

Ok. Yes, a database admin section will take care of that. We have a great extension for that called DataAssist which can generat the insert/update/delete/detail pages for products.
