After upgrade, lost site data

After upgrade, lost site data

It may have just been a coincidence, but I did the upgrade for new css menu writer, and upon relaunching DW, all my sites were gone from site manager. With 70+ sites, this is a pita. Just a heads up to export all sites before doing upgrade. As I said, could be a coincidence, but better to be safe than sorry.

this would not have been caused by the Menu Writer installation.

extensions install the files to the users configuration folder.

Your site definition information is not stored there (this is why renaming the users configuration folder does not effect the site definitions)

In windows, the site definition information is stored in the registry, on mac, the site definition is stored in a text file in the users library folder.

Thanks Jason. Just a coincidence then.
