Not able to add content location & area

I get the nice pop-up and it's found my database but the drop-downs for location and area are blank as I'd expect considering this is my 1st time using this. I expect to see - Add New or something similar but all I get is blank drop-down.

use the WebAssist -> CMS - > Add Content To Power CMS Option to create a new content area.

I am progressing - got to the install or setup page. But now it seems files are missing. They should have all uploaded and I'm looking for them but I don't see this image file.

On my other site all I get is FTP errors even though I'm connected. I try to add content and it's telling me I can't connect.

The 1st site has connected and has tables and content in the database but I get the error messages on the page.

This really shouldn't be this troublesome. I was supposed to have this ready for a meeting tonight but instead I wasted a whole day on it and have to go to the meeting with garbage. Not a happy camper right now.

I have created a support ticket so we can look into this issue further.
