thumbnails showing blue border in ie9

I have set up a gallery and in all browsers is fine EXCEPT ie9, not sure what microsoft have done.
but the thumbnails all have a blue 5 or more pixel border around each image and when you hover it changes to grey.
there seems to be no configuratino to change the borders of the thumbs in the gallery.

in the /gallery/galleries/grid_lightbox/css/themes/gallery.php?theme=Light2 file, change:

.pg-gl .thumbs img {
border: none;
border: solid 4px #v;
margin-bottom: 17px;
}

to:

.pg-gl .thumbs img {
border: none;
border: solid 4px #ffffff;
margin-bottom: 17px;
}

no change

Hi,
I updated the code in light.css to

.pg-gl .thumbs img {
border: none;
border: solid 5px #ffffff;
margin-bottom: 17px;
}

nothing changed.

I cleared the browser cache, etc,,, ie9 still display a blue border. :-(

well it worked!

sorry - I realise now the gallery actaully generates code and stores it on the website when I altered a setting, so I didn't have a local copy.
I downloaded the light2 css and changed it and re-uploaded it and its now working

thanks for the help

dreamweaver template ?

if I build a page without a template the gallery looks great in ie9
if I put the gallery in a DW template - inside a table the blue borders appear
I have removed all CSS styling from my template and it still displays.

any ideas?
