Confirmation Emails Not Sending (going out)

I have power store 4 installed and am using the test mode. all of the functions seem to work without issue except for the fact that the confirmation emails are not being sent out and the orders are not being recorded in the admin order section. Is there anything i should be checking to ensure that these emails are sent out successfuly and that the orders are recorded in the orders section of the admin backend?

Powerstore is set up at the following URL: products_results.php

I am in Fargo North Dakota - CST and am in the office Monday - Friday from 7am - 7pm.

Who is your hosting company?

double check that they support sending emails using the php mail() function from php scripts.

also double check the SMTP server and port number that they recommend using, in the power store admin section, on the store Settings tab, make sure to enter the proper SMTP Server address.

also double check the Store Email Tab and make sure to enter a valid email address for your domain for all of the various From Email settings.

On the gateway tab, what payment gateway is selected?

to operate in test mode, make sure not to select PayPal standard as the gateway.

some emails work and some dont

Hi Jason/WA,

Just a quick one on the email front.
Some emails are being send. For example:
- resending the receipt, - login information, and - manual verification email by user

others like - welcome to the store arn't

On a similar note the first time a user registers they are login in although the page appears as though the registration didnt work. You can then go to my profile. Once they log out they can then no longer login.

Where should I start looking?
