WAFV_ShowIfSB.htm, JAVASCRIPT Error

I am using CS5 on VISTA Home Premium SP2 and I am getting the following error "While executing objectTab in WAFV_ShowIfSB.htm, a Javascript error occurred." I have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled SA 2.0.3 and still get error. I have uninstalled SA 2.0.3 and installed SA 2.0.2 and still get the error. Of yes, I deleted the .dat file several times.

How do I get out of this error condition?

Thanks...John

sound like you have a conflicting extension installed.

please send a screen shot of the extensions manager showing the installed extensions and their version numbers in a zip archive.

Uninstall Digital File Pro 1 (That version is not compatible with DW CS5, and it is bundled into Universal Email 4)

Uninstall iRite (Not compatible DW CS5, you will need to upgrade to HTML Editor 3)

Uninstall Universal Email 4

Uninstall Cookies toolkit (it is bundled into Security Assist 2, and is not needed.

Uninstall security assist.

after uninstalling those extensions, reinstall Universal Email, then Reinstall Security Assist 2.

I did as you asked and deleted WinFileCache-530B2A19.dat but I still get the error when I click on the two attached buttons.

WAFV_ShowIfSB.htm, JAVASCRIPT Error

I may have found the cause of the error. I just got the dialog to come up on a PHP page. The error I have been getting is on an ASP page. I know a previous version on SA did work on ASP pages. I accessed the feature from the Behaviors window.

What happened to the ASP functionality? Maybe SA was not suppose to work on ASP pages but it did for me.

Thanks...John

yes, that is correct, security assist 2 is not compatible with asp pages, only with PHP pages.

Ok.

How do I get back to something I can use. What steps must I take? Can I install WAValToolkit_DRK? Reinstall SA1 and Cookies toolkit?

Thanks...John
