Links for images in the Power Gallery

Links for images in the Power Gallery

Question regarding the ability to customize the image "links" in Power Gallery.
Not sure how to explain ... please bear with me.
I am interested in the ability to have the image "link" push the user to a product page versus enlarging the image for viewing.
So when the user scrolls through the gallery and sees something of interest and clicks to view the image/graphic ... they will be taken to the product page and not bigger picture of the gallery item.
I hope this makes sense ... if not I am sorry.

Thanks
Steve

This is not supported with power gallery, it is intended to offer a listing of thumbnails that open a larger image when clicked, not redirect to another page.

there is no reason to use something like power gallery for this.

you can easily do something like that with a standard Dreamweaver Recordset and repeat region with links around image tags.

Actually there is something you can do to get there.

If you are using one of the gallery designs that show the description, in the description you can enter a link. You'd have to show your client how to do it, but some of my guys are using this.
