Discount code issues.

Hi,

I have recently successfully implemented a discount scheme into website www.piccolaonline.co.uk and added an additional feature whereby visitors to the site can create their own single use voucher codes. Jason kindly helped me out with it.

Checking on the site, initially, the admin-created voucher codes worked without problem. The user generated codes worked too. But now, neither scheme works - both sets of voucher codes when entered into the site fail to register a discount in the cart.

I am at a loss. Please find attached a copy of the WA-ecart folder and the cart.php file.

Many thanks for your help,

Martin

The discount relies on session variables, so to troubleshoot, we need to know what those session variable values are.

on the cart page, add the following code just after the <body> tag so we can see what the sessions are being set to

php:
<?php

echo("PromoCode: ".(isset($_SESSION['PromoCode'])?$_SESSION['PromoCode']:"")."<br />");
echo(
"PromoAmount: ".(isset($_SESSION['PromoAmount'])?$_SESSION['PromoAmount']:"")."<br />");
echo(
"1stDiscUsed: ".(isset($_SESSION['1stDiscUsed'])?$_SESSION['1stDiscUsed']:"")."<br />");
?>
