Updating Instructions
I would really appreciate it if EVERY time you issue an update like the recent security assist update, that you always provide instructions on how to update existing sites.

Let's expand on this a bit. Since I just upgraded my Dreamweaver version, I would also like you to include information on what newer extensions include previous extensions.
For example, the Database Search extension still exists in my downloads, but I have DA2. The search extension download should include a note saying the extension was superseded by DA2 and should not be installed if DA2 is installed (or something similar). It would really be great if that information where right on the list so I would not have to click on the extension to know whether or not I need to install it.
Figuring out what is current and what is not is quite a hassle especially since one mistake can screw up your extensions.
this would be quite helpful indeed
Maybe some of this is unrealistic, but I'm just throwing it out there as food for thought.
It would be great to see expanded documentation for all extensions related to additional functionality that can be accomplished with each, beyond the basic “how to use the extension tutorials”. I find myself cobbling together various threads found throughout the forums and building my own library of more advanced things you could do with WA extensions. However, It becomes time consuming and difficult to maintain since the forums are organic and constantly expanding. Plus, I don't have a programming background and am certainly not as experiences as a lot of the folks on the forums. Something like this might be helpful for others in the same boat as me.
Another thought (this may have already been requested or even done before) is to invent various scenarios in which we could utilize WA extensions, like “How to build a dynamic News Articles section” or “How to use eCart and DataAssist to build an Event Registration section”, etc. And list what extensions you would use near the tutorial's title so we know whether or not we could build something based on the extensions we own.
Also, for each extension please consider including/updating troubleshooting steps that are beneficial to us users. For example, the steps necessary to update php files when you add Security Assist 2 to a site that already has PowerCMS Builder applied. Having to scour the forums the first time to find this solution seems counter productive.
And please post the solutions to support tickets and connect meetings. I understand that all individual's situations may vary, but any information can be more beneficial than no information. Or maybe these solutions become part of the troubleshooting steps that I mention above?
I definitely concur. I have a conflict with 3 extensions right now and the support team has been suspiciously quiet. Unfortunately, my clients are not since their deadlines are not being met.
Please WA guys, for those of us who rely on your extensions, we would appreciate some troubleshooting tips, documentation, and a helping hand. I don't mind fixing it myself but don't know where to start.
@debbie295402, I dont see an unanswered thread for you in our history regarding extension conflicts, please start a new thread or provide a link to the existing thread where you are waiting for some help so i can have an idea of the issue you are experiencing.
Hi Jason,
There was actually a response posted but I just didn't get notification for some reason. I've tried the fix and am still having issues, but I'll post on the other thread. Thanks & sorry for any confusion, I guess my frustration level is a little high right now.. I do appreciate the help.
