Adding field to DB in PG1 - how to get it to show in lightbox?

Hi - I am trying to do some custom coding in the PG1 gallery. I added a field, "web" in the gallery table to hold a URL for an image. I want it to appear under the description for each image in the lightbox.

So I added a reference to the field on line 59 in the index.php file of my custom gallery.

. '<br /><a href=\'' . $gallery['images'][$i]['web'] . '\' target=\'_blank\'>visit site</a> "><img alt="" title="' .

Then I assumed the calls to the database are made in the global.php file so added some code there to access the "web" field. But no luck getting the code from that field.

ex: around line 68
'description' => htmlspecialchars(strval($media->description)),
'web' => htmlspecialchars(strval($media->web)),

Anything I can try to make this work?

Thanks!

this is not a supported modification to power gallery. If you need assistance getting this to work, I would suggest signing up for a premiere ticket where we could work with you in a one on one screen sharing session to set this up.
