Universal Email stopped working

First up - this definitely was working, and I don't think I've changed anything, but all I know is that it currently is not working.

Its basically a database driven project, so is set to send out an email to people returned from a search. It all looks good up to the page that previews the email, along with the list of people it should be sent to.

Would appreciate it if anyone could have a quick look at the attached files just to rule out any issues with the code.

If it all looks OK, any suggestions as to where else to look would be useful.

I dont see any obvious issues with the code.

where it was working before, I would suspect an issue with the smtp server. could be a couple of things, there may be a limit to the number of emails you can send in a given time period and you have exceeded that limit.

I would contact the host and ask them to look into the smtp servers error logs to see why it is not relaying the email messages.

Would this be likely to be independent of emails getting sent normally? As I've had a couple of emails from the owner normally, from the same email address.

depends on how the host tracks it. and if the php script is sending the email through the same smtp server as your site owner is using in his email application (this would be doubtful).
