Power CMS and Image Upload

Thread began 9/06/2011 12:08 pm by hollehock360489 | Last modified 10/10/2011 6:59 pm by Michelle141190 | 3576 views | 13 replies |

Power CMS and Image Upload

Is there any way that the "power CMS User" can UPLOAD images from the desktop? Maybe I installed it wrong but I'm not seeing that ability. I only see the ability to select files from the server and my end user won't have access to the server.

Any and all assistance would be great. Thanks!

Hi - you should have a 'browse' button where you can navigate to your desktop, then click upload.
Hope this helps -
Jim

I only see "browse server"....and even then it hangs to see those files.
I just took a screen capture but I see we can't upload images....

I checked under the "link" and "advanced" tabs and only "browse server" options there too.

Is there something perhaps missing on the server that allows for this function?

Same problems?

I seem to be having some issues as well. I cannot see the files that have been uploaded to my site, neither are the ones that I upload visible. Seems to be a glitch, but I have no idea what's wrong. Just as a reference I have included some screenshots. Mind you there should be several image thumbnails present.

in the webassist/kfm/index.php page

find the following line:

<script type="text/javascript" src="j/all.php/can-minify"></script>

and change it to:

<script type="text/javascript" src="j/all.php"></script>

also make sure that all files and subfolders under the webassist directory have 755 permissions

Yeah, Hmm. I tried the above Jason and it's still not correcting. Still can't see thumbnails.
