Count the total of records and show filtered by ID

Total count records and filter by ID
I would show the relationship of courses available and the number of subscribers.

I can only show the total number of records in the table but would like to show filtered by course ID.

Here attached a picture showing what they like and also the PHP file that contains the recordsets.

thanks

I think the use of 2 recordets i this page is not the right approach. you should be using 1 recordset with a join query on your page.

in the querty you could also use COUNT(tablename.IDColumn) where tablename.IDColumn is the table and ID for the table you are looking to get the count from.

see the following page for more details on creating a join query:
sql_join.asp

and this page for details on using the COUNT function:
sql_func_count.asp
