Log-In reset question...

i am closing the photo album at the family.ryani.net and moving everthing over to a replacement domain, family.plushkin.net...

since we have an increasing number of last names for our family everyone thought i should move the album to the plushkin domain...

the server techs copied everthing over from the ryani to the plushkin and the website seems to work ok, however, that said i tried to log in the new replacement domain and i can't log it to be sure it is all working correctly...

how do reset the passwords and login information so i can log in the the admin panel?

Thanks

the admin username and password are stored in the wa_settings table of the gallery database.

the first thing to check is that the server is properly configured to save session variables.

Use the session test page from the following thread:
showpost.php?p=23826&postcount=2

if the test fails, you will need to contact the host to have them fix the problem, it is most likely a bad session.save_path setting in the php.ini file.

it is not a file, it is a table in the MySQL database used by the gallery.

you will need to access the database server directly using PHPMyAdmin or another MySQL GUI tool to see the database tables.
