Training for novices...

I am trying to find some tutorials about setting up recordsets and databases. The PHP starter kit didn't do it for me. Can anyone send me a link? Looked through page after page of the forums and the tutorials. There should be a disclaimer that says prior database knowledge is necessary. Somebody with no database experience cannot operate this software.

the first place to start with recordsets is in the Dreamweaver help documentation:
WSc78c5058ca073340dcda9110b1f693f21-79a4a.html

this will get you familiar with the idea of creating recordsets in Dreamweaver using Both Simple and Advanced View.

Form there, you would probably want to learn a little about the SQL language used for querying the data in your database, this is the language that is used in the recordset:
sql/

there are a number of books available at the Local bookstore to help you become familiar with creating dynamic database driven websites.

the David Power "PHP development with Dreamweaver" is a good one to start with
books.php#phpdw
