Create a utility to update a page based on a select/menu

Create a utility to update a page based on a select/menu.

This gives the website user the ability to look at options before adding it to the cart, and without hitting any other buttons to update the page.

One application for this is for shopping and Ecart, but this would not have to be tied to ecart it could be a general tool.

The user would have a select menu for selecting items. This could be the same select box used by the Ecart button. Once the item is selected, items associated with the item on the page would be immediately updated. This could included price, pictures of the item, enlarged versions of the pictures etc. This should be able look up these items in the database.

I accomplished this using Jquery and javascript, but it was not easy to setup.
To access database prices for example, I used hidden form fields with the price values stored in them from a recordset. Then with jquery, I detected that the select was changed and used a switch statement to update page elements such as the price, and pictures.

I am happy with the result but it would have been nice to have a WebAssist wizard tool to set this up.
