PHP version???

Hi

I have uploaded powercms to site but when trying to install through install wizard it indicates that my host php is only version 4.4.9 when version 5 or higher is required.

However my cpanel for my hosting indicates that version 5.2.11 is used.

I have contacted my hosting provider for conformation but am waiting for reply.

Any ideas?????

the php version is determined by the diagnostic page using the php phpversion() function:
<?php echo phpversion(); ?>

are you sure the cpanel that indicates version 5.2.11 is not showing the MySQL version?
