2.04 update

I have Universal Email 4.01, and also Digital File pro 2, which is not installed because it is included in UE 4.01.
Should I install this update to Digital File pro, as previously I was advised to uninstall digital file pro as it is included in Universal email 4.01.
Not sure if the recent updates to digital file pro are already included in Universal email 4.01

(UE4) or (DFP) or (DFP and UE4)

No, you should not install Digital File Pro 2.0.4 if you already have Universal Email 4 installed.

All of the issues fixed in the 2.0.4 DFP release should already be fixed in Universal Email 4.0.1.

I installed this update to and got the attached message when I tried to open Dreamweaver.

The current situation of some extensions not being required because you have different extensions installed is very confusing.

When these emails are sent out about extension updates a notice should also be included that states something to the effect of "Users who have CSS Form Builder installed will not require this update".

It's very annoying as now I have to waste time uninstalling both of these extensions and reloading CSS Form Builder.

So this update is in CSS Form 2.0.1 builder too?

Lee,

I apologize for the frustration, I have forwarded your comments to the person that sends the update emails.

Rob,

That is correct, these issues are fixed in CSS Form Builder, the update was released ony to correct the problems for people who are still using DFP 2 and have not upgraded to Form Builder or UE.

Sorry if I sound a little harsh, as you know I'm a big fan of WebAssist, there's just a few things that annoy me a little. Another thing you might consider is removing the extensions from your clients download area if they own an extension that already includes it.... I'm on a roll.

I can foresee many other customers getting very angry if we started removing software they purchased from the download center, just because they purchased UE4 does not necessarily mean that they wont want to install DFP 2 at another time.
