minor modification to email receipt

minor modification to email receipt created big error

Hi!

When I added text and a link to the confirm_WAEU_HTML_WA_Universal_Email_2.php in the lorem ipsum at the bottom of the page,

I get an error message when I try to save the changes: While executing onLoad, the following Javascript error(s) occurred: At line 75 of file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\ Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\Configuration\Commands\waue_afterSave.htm":\MM.WAUE_UI_FINISH has no properties

TheWAUE_afterSave.htm is not in the Program Files (x86). Neither are a lot of other files that are located in appdata. I wouldn't know what is suppose to be at what location anyway...just thought this might be helpful...

See attached error message and page.

Also; when I use code navigator to find where I can make changes to the form, it gives me option of: "waue html body (attached template file)". When I select the location I receive the message: "waue html body not found"

I have deleted the .dat file. (I did this first) Error persists.

After searching the forums for answers, the only conclusion I have come to is either rerun the checkout wizard again or recreate the dw configuration folder...I would like to avoid either one, but if the recreating the configuration folder is what I have to do, will that destroy my site?

Thanks!

Jason,

Hi...:-)

The problem is solved; however, apparently what happened was when I tried to add a link back to site in the email receipt, the template does not allow it.

The properties inspector will not open when I highlight the text, so I hand coded it and it resulted in the same errors...

Should it allow a link? Or is there a special way to add a link back to the site?

This would be really nice to make this happen...

Thanks!

the template should not prevent the properties inspector from opening, another way to add a link though would be to select the link text, then go to Insert -> Hyperlink

Jason,

That worked...

Thank you for going the extra mile!
