Error in generatePreview.buttons:

I just launched SecurityAssist for the very first time and the first thing that popped on the screen was the following error message:

Error in generatePreview.buttons:
TypeError: wa.user_interface.preview_array[1].preview_object.setToFile
is not a function

I press ok and get:

TypeError: wa.user_interface.preview_array[0].preview_object.setToFile
is not a function

I can press ok and keep moving forward so I'll see what happens next and if I get any more error messages. In the meanwhile....How do I fix this error?

I'm using Windows 7, Dreamweaver CS5, SecurityAssist 2.02.

Ok...I'm appending this to this thread. I got another error:

Error in Site Tools Progress Panel initializeUI:
TypeError: wa.user_interface.floaterShouldInitialize is not a function

and

Access to
L:\WEBSITES\lealcreativesolutions.com\www\_mmServerScripts\_notes
\dwsync.xml was denied.

Ok, I'm appending this: It created all my pages, first thing I noticed is under Server Behaviors, there are two SecurityAssist Authenticate User ??

When I go to my registration form, it won't show the Security Code image, so I can't get past this form.

for the error meassage:
Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.pdf

2 Authenticate User Behaviors:
If you set the Option to include the Remember Me checkboxes and to Auto Login, a second authenticate user behavior is created for the Auto Login.

No Captcha Image:

most likely the GD library is not enabled on your server.

if this is a local testing server, see the "Enable the GD Library setting on your testing server" tutorial on the learning resources page
resources.php?utm_campaign=Forum_header&utm_medium=Forums&utm_source=WebAssistForums

if it;s a remote server, you will need to contact the host.

GD is already enabled (hosting co. sent me a screenshot to confirm). I've also deleted the cache file and restarted DW, but I'm still getting the error messages.

TypeError: wa.user_interface.preview_array[0].preview_object.setToFile
is not a function

TypeError: wa.user_interface.preview_array[0].preview_object.setToFile
is not a function

and

Error in Site Tools Progress Panel initializeUI:
TypeError: wa.user_interface.floaterShouldInitialize is not a function

Also, there is no button preview, and whenever I click the design setting to change it, the same error messages keep popping up.

The next step per gd_library_ht.pdf instructions is:

Note: If the problem persists, you may need to uninstall your extensions, reinstall them, then delete the WinFileCache.dat file and open Dreamweaver.

I've already done this a couple of days ago and it took about 2.5 hrs. to uninstall and reinstall and I don't want to go through that again. Please, I need some more support on this.

Thank you.

Levin.

I would appreciate any suggestions or direction before everybody goes home for the weekend. The problem starts from the getco. I can't find anyone else having reported the same problem, but all I'm doing is running Security Assist and Voila...errors show up.

Thank you.

The fix came when I ran into another problem with trying to edit 'Universal Email'. I got an error message. I found the answer in the forums which was to delete CSS Form Builder and install CSS Form Builder 2.0.1 - Support Release 2 (16.3 Mb). That fixed my problem with Universal Email and it must've fixed the problem with Security Assist because I'm not getting the errors anymore. The only problem I see is that on the Registration form, there is no Captcha image showing so I can't finish registering without it. The web hosting co. has GD enabled and they sent me the PHP info file to prove it. So what could be causing that?

The Captcha relies on both the GD library and the Free Type Library, is free type also enabled?

Send a link to the registration page so i can see the problem to investigate.

I got this resolved. The Captcha image would show on the dreamweaver page but not in the browser. For some reason not all the dependent files had been copied to the server. These two were missing: wavt_captchasecurityimages.php and the FONTS folder. That fixed the problem. But another question I have is, when creating the eCart files I had the option to include a template with an editable region, so all the forms and content were created within that region. But with SecurityAssist, I see no such option so all the pages were created on blank pages. Did I miss it? is there somewhere were I can tell it to create all the files based on template?

Thanks.

you would need to apply the template to the pages after they are created.
