End-User-Selected Recordsets

Jason:

Is there a widget in DW CS5 or in WA that allows end-users to generate recordsets that show results according to the criteria they selected?

For example, to present end-users with a set of criteria that they can pick from so that DW will generate a table containing records that meet the selected criteria.

Thank you for your attention

you can use DataAssist Search to create a search and results page for your database table

Jason:

Thank you for your reply. However, I'm not sure I made myself clear enough in my initial post. I would like the end-users to be able to do searches according to the criteria that they wish, for example, country, age, etc.

I would like to present them with, say, a clickable set of options that they can choose from so that when they click "go" DW will give them results drawn from the DB.

Can DataAssist do that? Can DW do that?

Thank you for your attention.

DataAssist search will allow you to create a search form to search the database by the options the user enters.
